Everyone who works on Need a Site gets their own login. What they can open depends on their group.
Groups
- Owner: everything, including the team, settings, prices and anything that spends money.
- Sales: leads, campaigns, leaflets, quotes, clients, tickets and analytics.
- Support: clients, tickets and quotes.
You can change what Sales and Support can do, or add your own groups, under Team → Groups. The Owner group always has everything.
Inviting someone
- Go to Team and click Invite.
- Enter their email address and choose a group. For a salesperson, add a referral code so clients they bring in are credited to them.
- They get an email with a link to choose their name and password. The link works once and runs out after 7 days.
Until they finish, they show as Pending. Use Resend invite if the email went missing, or Cancel invite to withdraw it.
Removing access
Disable a member to stop them logging in straight away. Their history stays. You cannot disable yourself or the last owner.
Activity
Risky actions (posting letters, removing clients, team changes, settings and price changes) are recorded with who did them and when, under Team → Activity.
